| I have been obsessively tracking prices on airline tickets for our upcoming cruise. I almost purchased tickets last weekend. I am so glad that I waited because I scored 2 tickets for only $102! That's right, I got 2 round trip tickets for only $102 total! Being obsessive paid off for me! | | |
|  I can't believe it! Five years ago today I gave birth to the most amazing little boy. I can't imagine life without him. Although he has had some struggles, he is progressing so well. I got a great report from his teacher this week. David is developing and progressing right along with his peers. In fact, academically, he is probably ahead of his peers. His speech teacher is teaching him his sight words and he is begining to read! Socially, he has come a long way, but still has some strides to make. He has started responding when he is greeted and will now spontaneously say hi to people (friends, teachers, strangers in the grocery store). I was very proud when I picked him up from school recently and all of his little friends came over to give him goodbye hugs. I also think that David has a crush on his resource teacher, Ms. Stribling. He just loves her and talks about her all the time! I am looking forward to another great year with my beautiful boy! | | |
| Well, it once again as been ages since I've blogged. I decided sine I've asked Kathleen to be my friend I'd better write something so that she doesn't give me a hard time. So, let's see what has happened since last time I was here. Here is a list: 1. Vacation! Yes, we had a wonderful time in Disney World. No pictures with Mickey Mouse. David wasn't into that. But we did like the rides especially the trains and rollercoasters. We told David that the rollercoaster were fast trains! He loved them!! We finished our vacation by going to Daytona Beach. David loved the "wocean". 2 . My baby started pre-k! It was a rough start, but we made it through. He is really settling in to the routine now. This morning, he walked all the way to breakfast and class on his own! My, how he has grown up so fast. He has some great teachers who have taken a great interest in him and are helping him in the adjustment process. 3. I got a new district manager at work, yet again! I get to have a visit with her tomorrow. I'll post the details next time. I guess that I'll update my pictures this weekend so that you all can enjoy our Disney magic. Til next time, peace out. | | |
